How Maddie's Can Help Spay/Neuter Your Pet

Thank you for your interest in spaying/neutering your pets. Your effort comes with many benefits for you, your pet, and your community!

The goal of the Maddie's Spay/Neuter Project in Maricopa County is to end pet overpopulation and the resulting euthanasia of healthy and treatable animals by facilitating the spaying/neutering of dogs and cats within Maricopa County.

In order to achieve this goal, Maddie's has established two programs to help Maricopa County residents spay/neuter their pets. Maddie's can help you spay/neuter your pet if a) you are a Maricopa County AHCCCS recipient or b) you are a Maricopa County pit bull owner. If you do not fall under either of these categories, go to our Resources page for more options.

AHCCCS Recipients follow these easy steps:

1. Make sure you are an AHCCCS recipient in Maricopa County. (If not, visit our Resources page)
2. Contact your local participating Maddie's veterinarian or clinic to set up an appointment. For a complete list see below.
3. Be sure to bring your AHCCCS card and photo identification (with Maricopa County address) with you. *Names must match both cards, if they do not match, be sure to bring a document to prove your identification (i.e. birth certificate, divorce certificate, marriage license, or a bill)*
4. You will also need to bring $10 per cat surgery and $20 per dog surgery.
