If you have found an injured stray animal or noticed an animal in distress, please call the Arizona Humane Society at 602-997-7585 ext. 2073. Services are free and available daily from 8am to 7pm. For other hours, please call your local police department. If you need to surrender an animal, please contact one of our Maddie's Pet Rescue Partners directly. Note that by state law, all stray dogs must be surrendered to Maricopa County Animal Care & Control. In addition, each Pet Rescue Partner establishes their own policies and procedures for taking in animals from the public. Maricopa County Animal Care & Control and the Arizona Humane Society (open-intake facilities) will always take an animal which needs to be surrendered. Our Adoption Guarantee Partners, however, will take in animals from the public on a limited basis only, as their main goal is to rescue and adopt the many thousands of animals brought into Maricopa County's open intake facilities. For questions about Maddie's Projects in Maricopa County and feedback on this website, please email us and we will get back to you as soon as we can. Thank you! |
